The Secret on Oprah

Here is a very cool video that I found that Oprah had some of the Secret contriubutors on her show. Very powerful stuff. Leave a comment below with your thoughts, feelings, and reactions if you like. You cannot share this page but you can share the video– please do:

Why people don’t set goals- Danny Cox – YouTube

Why people don’t set goals- Danny Cox – YouTube.

Goals guide your life. Be a goal setter= making your own circumstances as long as you take action.

Be a non-goal setter = you are reacting to everything and letting circumstance dictate your life.

Decide to Change- Election 2012 – YouTube

Decide to Change- Election 2012 – YouTube.

Who wins the election determines how successful you will be, right?
That apparently is what most people seem to think.

Especially if you read through your Facebook wall or twitter feeds. Or search the Internet.

But you know it really doesn’t matter. At least to me. And to all the other successful people that know what true success is all about.

If you want really want to be successful here is a simple thing you can do. And you can start doing it on Wednesday morning

Wake up. Go after what you want in life.

Good things don’t come to people who just sit around and wish but do absolutely nothing to change their situation. You have to do work.
Change is hard and it requires hard work, consistent work, and planning.

Obama isn’t going to make things happen for you. Romney isn’t going to make things happen for you.

You have got to want it. Then you have to make it happen.

There is no easy button.

Your circumstances occur because of you.

If you complain and moan about your situation but you do nothing to change it– that is going to be your life. You are a talker. A dreamer.

The successful ones are the ones that figure out what they want, plan how to get there and then take action to get there.

I’m writing this on Election Day 2012. Good luck to Mitt Romney. Good luck to Barack Obama. I’m sure ill hear who wins. But I’ve got action
to take to move me closer to my goals and dreams.

What are you going to do with the rest of your life? Life can change in an instant. All you need to do is decide. You decided to vote, decide to
change your life. Decide to be happy. Decide to be successful.

RIGHT NOW!!

Don’t wait until the moment is right. Because it never will be. Something always is going on in your life. Quit making excuses and create your life.

Getting out of your comfort zone- Mindtamer

getting out of your comfort zone means breaking through fear

Getting out of your comfort zone!!!!

By Jason Yun– Mindtamer
Doing something different.
&
Do you have a routine that you follow?
&
Something that you are very, very comfortable with doing?
$
Something you are so comfortable doing and familiar with you could do it with your eyes closed. Or close your eyes and describe it step by step to someone with intricate details?
$
Yes, of course, all of us do.
$
I have a morning routine, that I stick to. A workout routine- Pre-workout meal, certain warm-ups that I follow, post workout meal, post workout shower, post workout reading, post workout stretching. A bedtime routine, etc……
$
My point is we all have routines. These are our comfort zones.
#
But somethings in life require that we get out of that comfort zone.
$
Whenever we want to make a change in our life.
#
Most people that come to me want to lose weight, since I am a personal trainer. Well, you’re going to have to clean up your diet and start working out. Oh, but I can’t go without _________ (insert bad food item here).
#
Why not? Do you not want what you said you wanted?
#
I’m not saying you can’t have _______ ever again. You just can’t eat it on a regular basis.
#
Some people want business change. Life change. Family change. Relationship change.
#
How bad do you want it? What are you willing to give up to get it?
#
Imagine with me—– a huge Circle on a chalkboard or dry erase board. And then to the right of that is another smaller circle. Side by side. A big circle and little circle.
#
comfort zone, conquer your fears, kekich's credo
Inside the big circle is everything that you are comfortable doing—- Your morning ‘get ready’ routine, your work routine, your drive routine, etc……..
#
Inside the small circle is where the magic happens. That is outside your comfort zone. Things you do that might make you uncomfortable, or maybe you even fear doing them. But these are things that will bring about the biggest changes in you.
#
For weight loss, maybe’s it’s stop drinking soda and only drinking water. For a small business maybe it’s getting out from behind the computer and getting out and networking. For a single person maybe it’s asking that someone out on a date.
#
Maybe you want to learn a new skill. Or apply for a new position at work, but it will require learning a new software program.
#
If you want to change you got to jump into the small circle. And get comfortable being there.
#
And the fact of the matter is it takes work. Hard work and commitment.
#
You can’t just wishfully want something and then magically it happens.
#
You want to climb Mount Everest? That’s going to take months, maybe even years of training to do that.
#
So what is your Mount Everest?
#
What do you want to be?
#
What is your life worth to you? Are you where you want to be right now in your life? If you are then awesome for you!
#
But most people are not where they want to be. Myself included.
#
Everyday I work on climbing my Mount Everest. I have a bunch of them.
#
Of course some days are harder, that is always going to be the case.
#
Getting to where you want to be in life is a challenge. It’s the challenge of life. Are you going to sit on your ass and not reach for goals because you are afraid of stepping outside your comfort zone, or are you going to change? And make a difference in your life and probably the lives of other people.
#
I don’t care how old you are! What race, religion, creed, your height, weight, education, or favorite TV show is. You can change now!
!
You just have to be willing to accept the fact that you can. and that it is going to require hard work.
!

HARD WORK.

!
HArd Work in the forms of mental, emotional, physical, spiritual. There will be obstacles. Do you see them as roadblocks or just a temporary setback?
!
What separates the people that reach their potential and the ones that don’t: The ones that do have the courage to say they want to change and they take massive action outside of their comfort zone and they get it done. The others just sit comfortably, going through life, letting circumstances arise and then reacting to those circumstances.
!
Hard workers create their own circumstances.
!
It wasn’t until my late 20’s that I decided to change my life.
%
I sometimes used to say to myself I wish I could go back with the PRESENT ME and replace the PAST ME. I wonder where I would be NOW.
%
But I realize that would be stupid. I can’t change the past. Because my first quarter century or so on this earth was the best education of my life. I learned that things aren’t just given, they have to be earned. When I was little (elementary-high school) I thought the only you needed to do to have a successful life was to go through your schooling then go to high school, then go off to college, earn your degree, get an awesome high paying job, then get married, have kids, and live happily ever after. That’s what I saw with my dad. He had an awesome job, Vice President of his division, as long as I remember he was making $100 k and when he retired over $200k. So i just magically thought that would be me to. But then I got out of college and got a job doing collections making $23,000 a year. Dead end. And super fearful for my future.
%
So at 28 or 29 I decided to change. Get out of my comfort zone. Do things that great people do. I opened up my training business, and since have opened up 2 more, with a couple more on the horizon.
%
Everyday is a day to get better, I know this. Everyday I am climbing my Mount Everest. They say it’s 29,029 feet tall. If that’s the case I’d say I’ve only climbed about 2000 feet. There is so much more I want to do and accomplish. And I won’t stop until I reach the Summit!
Jason Yun helps people change thoughts from negative to positive
%
That is going to require MASSIVE ACTION outside of my comfort zone. Every single day!
%

So again I ask– what is your Mount Everest?

%
Are you willing to change your life and start creating your own circumstances?

Sometimes you just need to take a break

Sometimes you just need to take a break.

breaks in life are needed to get to your goals and mindset
We all are extremely busy these days. It seems like we are being pulled in 99 directions at once.
&
I’m certainly no different. It seems I am constantly working. Constantly moving towards my business goals, my training goals, etc… and whenever I’m not doing that, I’m busy doing something with the wife, dogs, or family.
&
I’ve heard of people getting burned out before. It happened to me, back when I was teaching bootcamp for the morning classes 5 days a week at 515 am. Waking up at 400-415 am everyday. Getting less then 5-6 hours of sleep. Wasn’t long before I realized this isn’t good. My health is going down, my motivation is going down. Things need to change. So I brought in new trainers to help take some of that early morning burden off me. Health returned, and motivation returned.
&
But something happened on a Thursday in October that I simply can’t explain.
&
The day started off awesome. Was getting my goals knocked off for the day, working my daily list down, and keeping strict to my daily practices (meditation, breathing, yoga), but all of sudden 4:00 came.
&
I had just finished eating a healthy meal of eggs and veggies, went back into my office and WHAM! Had no desire to do anything.
&
I couldn’t explain it. No motivation. I had something planned, was supposed to work on my referral website. But that wasn’t  going to happen. So I tried moving into something that didn’t require thinking— email……. nope——editing videos………nope
&
My mind was a complete blur. I couldn’t think or concentrate.
&
So maybe if I just lie down and read. ABout about paragraph in that wasn’t happening.
&
So I decided I needed a break. No motivation for me was a serious thing, since it isn’t very hard for me to get motivated. I have so many goals for each day, week, month, quarter, year, and I move towards them with Massive Action each and every day.
&
I just burnt out. It happened to a friend of mine I remember. Can’t remember what he did to combat it, but what I did was decided to turn to Netflix and lose myself for a couple hours.
&
I found Act of Valor, the Navy Seal movie that I had wanted to see. It was very good and inspiring at the same time. So really a double shot—- motivation for me to get my butt in gear and a great movie.
By the end I found myself ready to conquer the day again. I got a couple things knocked off my list that night. All it took was a couple hours. Since then I’ve been full steam ahead again.
*
The point is sometimes you just need to take a break.
*
Weather that break is a couple hours or a couple days. It’s dependent on the person. Just like you can do much exercise for the body, you can do much ‘stuff’ in your life. And we need to take a break to recharge our batteries.
*
For me it was a movie. For you, it might be a message, a hot bath, a workout, a hike, a visit to a friend/family, etc……..
*
I’m ready to conquer the day once again. But I’m willing to listen to my body when it tells me:
*
“Hey, I need a break buddy!”
*
Listen to your body. It knows what is best for you.

Great quote and explanation about people with goals and people without goals. Have an objective in life. Targets to knock down.

Move forward and pursue with action! ACTION! Not hoping and wishing for something to take place.

Rules and Expectations to become a Tamer of the Mind

obey your mind, feed it with positive thoughtRules and Expectations (these are subject to change):

1. In the forum/facebook page- Check in every Friday with your progress. This is an accountability tool that should not be taken lightly. Hence, why it is rule #1. Friday is checkin day, if you are late, explain why you are late. This needs to become a priority in your life. We are all counting on you to give us your updates and your improvements. If you did nothing that week, please checkin and let us know why.

  • Example checkins can be found in the forum here: Sample Checkin Post
  • You can still participate in the group if you do not checkin. We all get busy and sometimes different priorities take over. The people that get the most out of this program and do so the fastest will make check in’s every week one of their biggest priorities.

&

2. You will be given an accountability and motivation partner. Up to 3 other people in a group (so you, and up to 2 other people). These will be chosen at random.

  • You can have other accountability partners as well, that you are more familar with. But the people ‘assigned’ to you, will be going through the same things you are going through. Most likely will have the same questions, comments, and concerns.
  • These other MindTamers are people you can go to to bring out the best of you, and you in them.
  • Pay it forward……

#2 rule has been eliminated from the program. You can find your own accountability partner through mindtamer, or on your own accord. Or simply use the forum and facebook page.

&

3. If you decide that this is not for you: Quitting

  • There may be many times when you think about quitting this program. Change is hard. The only time you truly fail is when you quit. There will be roadblocks. You will get knocked down. But wether you stay down or get back up will be on you. This program is not easy by any means. Most likely it will be the hardest thing you will ever do.
  • The minimum commitment for this program is 3 months. Once you decide to go for it and do this program, you must go through the program for 3 months. This is not a program that we expect you to purchase and then just let it sit, doing nothing but collecting dust. You must ‘work’ the program for three months. After 3 months if you feel you cannot do it, then you may cancel.
  • This is just a rule I have set for the MindTamer program. There is nothing stopping you from canceling before the 3 months, only your integrity. Please cancel within the first 14 days (the trial period), if not we expect great things from you. You are always welcome to come back at another time if time was not right for you now.
  • Talk to people on the forum or facebook group, most likely they went through the same feelings as you did. Remember there is no failing, unless you quit. This program is about change and it will not happen over night.
  • An email is expected before you officially quit to mindtamer@yunbootcamps.com explaining why you are quitting. I will try and talk you out of it. We want you to succeed. A change in mindset and life does not happen overnight.

&

4. This site is a work in progress. If anything isn’t working correctly please contact me at once. This includes but is not limited to: webpages, links, videos, downloads, audios, graphics, etc…… There will be spelling and grammar mistakes as well. If you have any issues with that, please do not join. My purpose for creating this site and the content is to provide you with lessons that promote lifelong changes.

&

5. Each month there will be a new module or lesson.

  • Each module will be for 30 days. A new one will become available to you every 31 days
  • If you are not ready for the new module, that is ok. This is a self-guided program. So if it takes you 45 or 60 or 90 days to go through a module and master it that is fine. Do not feel pressure to move faster then you are able. Self-Mastery must occur first before moving on to a new module.
  • Inside of each module will be different aspects of Mindtaming and becoming a master of each. You will have homework assignments, nutrition assignments, physical (workout assignments),mind challenges, goal assignments, and much more. Every ‘assignment’ or task will be taught to you in different ways as I’m sure there will be different learners. So we will have video, audio, and written for most all parts inside of the module (when possible)
  • Each module will have it’s own Motivational U-Letter. This is a newsletter that is all about YOU and motivating YOU to stay on track.
  • Your feedback on each section in the module is very important as you proceed through the modules. Like I said this is a work in process website. Some sections will be changed, added, modified; some will be moved to another module; some will be omitted; some will need to be more clarified, etc…… This is for your benefit as well as future MindTamers. A survey will be sent out periodically to assess each module and section. Your feedback is highly welcomed and appreciated.
  • Down below is a video taking you through the basic layout of the Modules:

&

6. Getting Better

  • Once you pass a module, it doesn’t necessarily mean you are done with it. You can always go back and relearn something. You want to make it so it becomes a part of your sub-conscious (something you don’t have to think about- like breathing).
  • It is actually recommended to go back and review some of the previous modules. As you progress and change most likely some of the stuff will have better meaning or a different meaning then when you first went through it.
&
7. Goal Setting
  • Goal setting is required. This obviously will be in Module 1 as it is one of the most important life skills you can ever learn and master.
  • Without a goal or someplace that you want to reach, your life doesn’t have a true purpose. We are all more important then we can ever know. And we all have the power to change lives. But it starts with you.
  • From goal setting comes challenges you will set for yourself and a vision for your life. What is your purpose? We will help you find it and conquer each and everyday.
*
8. Daily Practice
  • As the modules progress you will be introduced to certain practices. Some of these will need to be implemented daily. In my life I have 6 daily practices that I try and accomplish. With everyday being different, I have set a goal to accomplish a minimum of 50% of my daily practice each day. But the true goal is 100%.
  • The practice habits are there to clear your mind and get you to focus on what’s important. Also to find an inner peace within you. The daily practice will be some of the most important things you will implement through this program. DO NOT SKIP IT!
  • At first you may think you will not have time for them, and that is negative thinking that we will need to change. Once implemented and as it becomes a habit, you will soon realize that you can’t do without it. It truly is powerful, life-changing stuff.
&

9. Change

  • You have to be willing to change in order for this program to work for you.
  • You have to come in with an open mind.
  • You have to be willing to try the things in the modules, no matter what you first think of them. Try and implement them into your life. It takes 21 days to form a habit, no matter if the habit is good or bad. Everything on this site is to help you become a master of yourself.
  • You have to be willing to get rid of the things currently in your life that are holding you back.
  • Progress is progress no matter how slow

which road will you take to master your life

It’s the Journey you need to focus on and enjoy, not the destination. Your Journey Starts Now- Change is coming
